Below are resources to guide you when using various citation styles.
To get help with citations, make an appointment at UTK.MyWCOnline.com . You may want to search for writing consultants who specialize in helping with citations. In our appointment portal (UTK.MyWCOnline.com), open the “Limit to: please select” menu near the top of the page, and look for tutors who help with all citations or those listed as specialists in the particular citation style you’re using.

Avoiding Plagiarism
Citing all external sources used, quoted, and/or paraphrased in your work is the best way to avoid plagiarism. Be sure you’re familiar with what plagiarism and academic integrity are; see the section on the Honor Statement in the Student Code of Conduct, which is posted at https://studentconduct.utk.edu/. Also see our web page on Managing Sources, which provides more detail on what plagiarism is and how to avoid it.
