General Writing Help
The Judith Anderson Herbert Writing Center serves student writers in all disciplines of the UT academic community by offering free, individualized help throughout the writing process. Trained tutors read and discuss student writing in one-to-one conversations and offer constructive feedback. We teach students how to think about their written work from the brainstorming stage to final revisions.
For information about our services, see our Home page.
Support for First-Year Composition (FYC)
UT requires all first-year students take two semesters of FYC courses. See this page on UT’s FYC program to learn more.
